Who are you?
I'm a current engineering student at Texas A&M University planning to graduate in 2028. I'm also part of the newly-formed autonomous systems sub-team @ TAMU SAE Aero Design.
Before A&M, I graduated high-school as valedictorian, had been a part of student council, and directed my school's print shop business. I also participated in a scientific enrichment program by Science World for three years, time during which I published two papers in their annual journal.
Since 2022, I've been enthralled by everything to do with drone technology. I've spent the last few years passionately designing & building prototypes with varying degrees of success, though my learning efforts culminated in the successful autonomous mission of my 5th VTOL (vertical take-off and landing) design.
Up until my move to Texas in 2024, I also volunteered for my local church as the livestream cameras operator for over a year. I enjoy taking pictures, drawing, or reading in my spare time.
Passion Projects
Drones: I've gone through four prototypes since December of 2022. The first three either A) skittered along the ground, or B) ended back on it in pieces, within 2 seconds.
But they far from failed in teaching me about proper structural design, aerodynamic optimization/computational fluid dynamics, tolerancing, CAD software, additive manufacturing, soldering/circuitry, & other ancillary skills, so much so that the 5th prototype flew itself on the first attempt.

Okay, How?
AVOX is simply what we call our members as a whole. In other words, we are just people! We rely on people to fund, ideate, and coordinate all of our projects.

The Vision
To develop aircraft that are economical enough to be scalable for a drone-centric future and technologically advanced enough to inspire that future, and
To educate participants about the creativity and initiative that lofty goals require, something that no textbook can teach. To fuel thinkers of the future.
Open to all students at Texas A&M University.
